We used to get excited at the prospect of churning stale grocery beer into Nitro Draft. But today we’re talking about a Brewmaster stationed on Your Counter 24/7. The BeerMKR is a Shark Tank success story and an ingenious “closed” brewing system that is monitored by an app. It makes the entire beer brewing process about as easy and foolproof as you can get.
We say “closed”, as the process does not even involve your brew kissing the air outside until it is released from its spigot into your mug. It works from a series of bags, sensors, and valves that guide you and your brew through the entire process. It monitors the temperature and yeast activity to ensure that each step is complete before moving to the next, sending notifications if anything feels ‘off’.
And when it’s all said and done, you end up with a small bag of waste, a few tidbits to drop into your dishwasher, and one gallon of crafted brew that hooks up to a convenient ‘BrewTap’. Reloading for the next brew is as simple as new bags and more fresh ingredients.
