Kourtney Kellar might be as close to the real thing as possible. Most know her by her day job, which is a popular Instagram model and fashion model. In the evening, she becomes the girl next door who loves ‘Dad jokes’, late-night Taco Bell runs, driving a stick shift, and watching basketball.
Kourtney is a native of the big state of Texas, and her inspiration and dreams have maintained that 10-gallon attitude, and she is now intent on making a name for herself on every coffee table around the world. And this is how many of the greatest American stories and legacies have begun, and we welcome you along on the ride to her success.
Urbasm: Hi Kourtney, where did we see you recently? Well, besides these Instagram shots that have become some of our favorites this year.
Kourtney Kellar: I’ve got a cover that was shot in Miami for a cigar magazine.
Urbasm: Oh yeah, that was probably it. And if it isn’t, well, it is now. So, do you have anything particularly ambitious on your bucket list for the year?
Kourtney Kellar: This year my bucket list is more focused on making memories than anything. Since the lockdown, traveling is all I want to do and I would love to see Greece, Israel, and Egypt soon to name a few.
Urbasm: Stay safe during your travels. Can you help us with one item on our own list, and that is to find out something surprising about you?
Kourtney Kellar: I think most men would be surprised to know that I can drive a manual. My first car was a stick shift and I love to go fast.
Urbasm: We think that would qualify as a superpower of sorts in today’s age. Do you have any other hidden talents?
Kourtney Kellar: I can play the clarinet. I was in the marching band for 7 years and we won multiple state competitions.
Urbasm: Let’s say that you are entering a dark swanky nightclub and all eyes fall upon you. What would be the song that begins to play as you continued to walk through that room?
Kourtney Kellar: The song that would play if I entered the room would for sure be American Woman and I’d definitely have the fan effect in my hair and slow-motion in full swing if I had the choice.
Urbasm: Let’s change gears a bit and play…

Kourtney Kellar: I would love to have dinner with Nikola Tesla. The man was beyond brilliant and so innovative for his time.
Urbasm: And the menu?
Kourtney Kellar: Tacos are my favorite so Nikola would have to be okay with that and all of my questions of course.
Urbasm: What are the three most important things that a man should know about you?
Kourtney Kellar: A man should know that my favorite game to watch is basketball, I have a bachelor’s degree in sports medicine, and my favorite place to be is on a boat out over the ocean.
Urbasm: And what about three things a man should know about himself in order to become a better man in your opinion?
Kourtney Kellar: For a guy to be a better man he must know his goals/priorities, how to take care of his family, and have amazing dad jokes prepared at all times.
Urbasm: Well, we’ve always got some dad jokes on standby, so we’re at least one-third of the way. Do you know what the cop said to his own belly button?
Kourtney Kellar: …
Urbasm: Ah, nevermind. Thank you Kourtney for sharing a bit about yourself with us today. We’re sure that we will be seeing a lot more of you.
And now may we invite you to continue Kourtney’s story by following her on Instagram. It is never the promise that defines a real woman, but rather the mystery and effort it takes to discover more about her, and we have yet to only brush the surface.
