We’ve talked about success here many times, and we do tend to talk a lot about taking your part in the building of your success. This is because nobody else is going to do it for you. You are going to have to do it yourself. But beyond this head game that can occasionally knock you off track, there is but another obstacle that most people don’t consider. We’re talking about other people.
One of the greatest motivational speeches you can expect from ‘other people,’ is the speech that tells you that you can’t do something. The speech that tells you that it is too hard, costs too much and that you don’t have enough talent. If you think that these people are actually telling you that you can’t do these things – you have been getting them wrong all these years.
They are not telling you that you can’t. They are simply challenging you to muster up the courage, motivation, and gumption to prove them wrong. And even if they aren’t – wouldn’t it just feel good to prove them wrong anyway?
