You are a gentleman… a business professional and a lover of beautiful things. The Lexus GS offers a sexy package at just $48,600, but we know a way to make it just a bit sexier. It is not too often that an automotive manufacturer gets an upgrade right- if you know what I mean? I’m talking about not going overboard on the chrome, exhaust, trim piping, decals, pinstripes… and did I mention the chrome?
It isn’t too often, but I think that Lexus has nailed it with their F Sport. This upgrade takes the base GS 350 and adds a classy spindle grille, rear spoiler, 19-inch alloy wheels, stiffer suspension, bigger brakes and a software upgraded 3.5-liter V6. It also comes with an improved steering wheel, slick black headliner and aluminum foot pedals. The result is a luxury sedan that is spirited on the highway, practical around the neighborhood and surprisingly nimble on the twisty mountain roads.
All this refinement amounts to around a $5,000 more in price, which in a world where money doesn’t grow on trees, I still think it is worth every penny… and that says a lot.
