We thought we were in heaven when we were introduced to the HotTug Jacuzzi Boat. But as much as we loved it, not all of us live close enough to a large water source to make use of something like that on a regular basis. So we began to wonder… what is something a little more practical, economical and feasible?
Well, depending on your patience level, you could always lug around an inflatable hot tub. These are decently cool, but definitely inconvenient and take a long to time to fill and heat. Or… The innovator, Benjamin H. Frederick, has combined the strength and portability of a hammock with the convenience of a high-tech water heating system, and suddenly a truly portable hot tub was born.
It is called the Hydro Hammock and they say it uses less water than a standard bathtub, can be equipped with a portable water heater, holds up to 700 pounds and is more fun than an airline bachelor pad (okay, so we’re just guessing on that last part). Well, they are getting ready to wrap their Kickstarter campaign, so if you’ve always wanted a traveling jacuzzi for one (two, or possibly three)… that dream can finally be realized.
