She’s a little bit fashion designer and a whole lot of rock n’ roll—that pretty much describes model and fashion blogger, Caroline Roxy. She caught our eye a few months ago as a woman who would have some pretty fascinating advice for us men on life, success and relationships. Little did we know that we would end up talking about wild animals, getting dirty and being a gentleman—but we loved every minute of it.
Urbasm: Hi Caroline, what’s been going on?
Caroline Roxy: I’m going to the fashion week to present my upcoming collection. I’m also going to New York fashion week and I really look forward to it since I love both the city and the fashion week there. After that I’m going to Costa Rica to surf.
Urbasm: That’s a great start to the year. What would you say has been the key to your success?

CR: To do things my own way; working hard and be positive.
Urbasm: Do you think success is more about who you know, or how well you know yourself?
CR: I think it’s about how you see life. How you can see the opportunities and positive things in life.
Urbasm: What are the top three things on your bucket list for the year?

CR: Surf the waves in Costa Rica, visit at least three new countries and feed a wild animal.
Urbasm: We’ve been known to get wild from time to time.
CR: —
Urbasm: Ahem, so what is something about you that most people may not realize?
CR: I’m kind of crazy, always laughing too loud and a bit messy. Like during the summer my feet are always dirty because I love running around barefoot (laughs).
Urbasm: In what way do you find a man’s intellect sexy?

CR: I think it’s sexy when a guy can be completely deep about life. To be able to discuss everything about it, and then a minute after just be hilarious about a really easy subject. It’s the balance I think.
Urbasm: We’ve been told that men need guidance from women to become more balanced in life. What do you think a man can learn from women?
CR: I think we can both learn from each other. Life isn’t balanced until you’re with someone that completes you.
Urbasm: We agree. And what would you say are the three things that every guy should know, according to Caroline Roxy?

CR: Be careful of what you have while you still have it. Buy too much flowers and be a gentleman!
