Coming soon to a dealership near you… it’s the Alfa Romeo 4C. This is a rare find in North America, mostly because up until now these were not being shipped over for our driving pleasure.
So, an Alfa Romeo sounds cool, but why would you want one? Well, because you like to be different. There will only be 2500 of these built per year, and at a price tag of $86,000, that is a small price to pay for being unique in a world that already has too many Mercedes SL350’s and BMW M3’s.
And what do you get for your money? A 240 horsepower 1.7-liter turbo with nearly 260 lb-ft of torque. Keep in mind, this is a small sports car (only 13 feet in length) with a light and nimble supercar chassis, so 240 will go a long way. All this go juice will be under control via a 6-speed dual clutch transmission.
The only catch is… we have no idea when it will get here. However, we deeply suspect it will be sometime in the next several months. Incidentally, its 4-cylinder sport exhaust sounds absolutely fantastic. Have a listen for yourself:
