If you are the proud owner of a Tactical Mac/iPad Sleeve, I’ve got three accessories that will fit perfectly with it. The tactical pen is not a self defense device that gets much attention on the urban streets. This is because while it may be an important item of every day carry, you will never actually think about it until you really need one. While we hope you never do, we also hope that you come prepared, as it sucks to be the only guy with fists at a knife party.
Tom Anderson Tactical Pen Folding Knife
This little beauty from Tom Anderson is only 5.25 inches long, yet its CNC aluminum construction allows it to break anything from an assailants muscle tissue, to the glass in your vehicle if you should ever find yourself wrong side up in a pool of water.
Gerber Impromptu Tactical Pen
The Gerber pen writes in all conditions, including rain or shine, thanks to it “Rite in the Rain” ink. It also comes with an integrated glass-breaker that will serve as an essential extension to your fist should you ever need it.
Smith & Wesson Military and Police Tactical Pen
Smith & Wesson has made history over the years designing awesome hand weapons, and this tactical pen is about as serious as a pen can get. This is a big boy at 6.1-inches and 1.4-ounces, and it is made of T6061 aircraft aluminum. The pointy end is the part that can save your life, while the flat end houses the writing tip and Parker and Hauser ink cartridge.
All three of these pens are just a couple bucks, but they could very well be worth the cost of a life if the occasion should arise.
