This Omega style of watch first appeared in the James Bond film, Golden Eye (1995), and then was revised in 2006 for the film, Casino Royale. While James Bond may seem to be about as refined of a gentleman as he can get, there was still room for improvement with his watches.
The Omega Men’s 2221.80.00 Seamaster James Bond watch is one of the newest versions. It features several improvements over the original, including a much deeper blue colored face, distinctive wave design, and hour markings that are encased in stainless steel.
Omega model 2220.80.00 features the same distinct style, but ditches the quartz and substitutes it with the newer Co-Axial Escapement movement.
