April Fools is the best time to play practical jokes and pranks on your favorite (and least favorite) people. As we look through the history books, we are treated to such classics as the burning bag of dog crap, and clothed dummy thrown into oncoming traffic.
“In those days, one of your worst fear was getting caught and dragged to your parents to get the sh** beat out of you,” says John Doe, Class of 1958. No worries Mr. Doe, as today a parent would be sued for no less than an ass beating, so we’re free to prank all we want.
What we have for our readers today is the Mentos Coke Gag, which is quickly becoming a classic among the college crowd. Here’s what you need to do:
Go to the store and get yourself two bottles of coke, a roll of mentos, some dental floss, and a sewing needle. Force the dental floss through the center of the mentos using the needle (as pictured), and open the top of the coke. Drop the mentos in the cap, and screw the top back on, making sure the mentos is hidden. Cut off excess dental floss, and you’re ready for action.
Bring your creation to your victim, and make sure you’re drinking the ‘non-tampered’ bottle of coke, as this will make your offering look less suspicious. You just happened to be getting yourself a bottle, had some extra change, and got them one too. If you’ve never seen this gag in person, the top photo will give you a pretty good indication of its intended results.
