Much of what us guys know of Carmen involves those pivotal areas from the neck down, but to truly get to know this woman of few words, one has to look beyond those long legs, mountainous bosoms, blue eyes, tinsel-town brown hair, and see through to her mind. Yes, she does have a mind, she attended Princeton. Well, not the University, but the high school in the Cincinnati suburb of Sharonville, class of 1990.
Now how many of us really know who Carmen Electra is? She has been far more of a fantasy implanted in our memories than an actual person. She has had her fair share of flaws, blemishes, failures, and accomplishments, but have we really ever bothered to find out what these were. Allow us to help change some of that as we introduce Carmen Electra, and allow her to elaborate on her life in her own words (so to speak). Who is this sexy woman… where does she come from, and with whom and where has she been? Carmen Electra, this is your life!

Carmen has always been a ham (as well as apparently likes to cook it over an open flame) since the days she was prancing around in her diapers listening to hippy and disco music in 1972. She was a dancer at the Kings Island amusement park in her home state of Ohio as a teenager, then later had a brief singing career at the tender age of 19 thanks to a scout of the legendary Prince (once again known as the artist, Prince), who spotted Carmen fronting for a rap group in LA. She ended up releasing a self-titled album under his label and in 1992 toured with him on his Diamonds and Pearls show across Europe. She later became a headlining act for the infamous Pussy Cat Dolls dance troupe in LA, which opened the door for a starring role in her own popular series of aerobic strip tease videos.

Carmen has had quite an interesting assortment of “lifetime” mates throughout her relatively short time on this earth, beginning with basketball character, Dennis Rodman, when she was 25. This relationship legally lasted from November 14th, 1998 through April 6th, 1999, although technically four days was the amount of time they were actually together. She then chose another interesting character, the guitarist from Jane’s addiction, Dave Navarro, which lasted from November 22nd, 2003 to February 20th, 2007 (at least they waited until after Valentine’s Day to sign the divorce papers).

Take it from Carmen who knows what it is like to choose poor bedfellows. Beyond her two marriages, she has also been tied to a rather motley crew of bad boys, such as Fred Durst (Limp Bizkit), Vin Diesel, Prince, Tommy Lee, Howard Stern, Mark McGrath (Sugar Ray), The Heff (Hugh Hefner), and Korn guitarist, Rob Patterson.
“I was watching an HBO special the other night on real-life maximum-security-prison guys. I glanced up, and my poster was in quite a few cells. I was screaming ‘Oh, no!’”

This may be one obvious drawback for her appearing as a playboy centerfold in 1996 (that’s the May issue in case any of you would like to cruise back on memory lane). But her loss was most of our gain, as we could at last put some real dimensions and features into those boyhood fantasies. As for many other Hollywood starlets, this was also the point that her television and movie career really took off. She began to have regular roles opposite of Pamela Anderson on “Baywatch”. Soon after she given the opportunity to host the MTV hit “Singled Out” and went from there to several flicks, many that trivially used the same word in each title… “Scary Movie”, “Date Movie”, “Scary Movie 4”, and “Epic Movie”.
“I never had my own name on a bathing suit on ‘Baywatch’. I was always given one that said Pamela or Yasmine. I earned my own suit, at the end of the season, which I now have framed.”

That doesn’t sound like such a bad thing to be able to fit in the same suit as Pamela and Yasmine. Now, since she mentioned it, I suppose this is a good spot to throw out her infamous measurements… 36-23-35.

You heard it here folks. Carmen has her opinions on politics, and as much as I’d hate to break it to Mr. Obama, you are just not sexy… end of debate.
Carmen Electra, the mysterious woman who has become a slightly different character in each of our own personal fantasies. Perhaps now you can have a little more of an appreciation for who the woman is behind the fantasy. She is just a simple woman of flesh and bone, of whom all our fantasies can be thankful she is made up of a whole lot more flesh than bone… hallelujah for Ohio’s steak and potatoes!
