Nathaniel D. Hale, better known as Nate Dogg, died early Tuesday morning. He was 41 years old. His family has not yet announced the details of his passing, but it is speculated the cause may be connected with his two prior strokes, one in December of 2007 and the most recent in September of 2008.
Nate got his start in 1991, when himself, Snoop Dogg, and Warren G, formed the rap trio 213, who upon being heard by Dr. Dre at a house party, sealed their eventual membership into the Hip Hop Hall of Fame. Snoop said it best on his Twitter account earlier this evening:
“I love u buddy luv. U will always b wit me 4ever n a day u put the g n g funk u put the 1 n 213 n u put yo stamp on evrybdy u ever didit wit”
